Annabel & Ross’s Swynford Manor Black-tie Wedding

Watch Annabel & Ross’ emotive, authentic and exquisite wedding film from their black-tie summer wedding day at Swynford Manor, Suffolk.

Monochrome Manor House Wedding

Annabel and Ross—The Averys—shared a love story fourteen years in the making. Their black tie wedding day at Swynford Manor in Suffolk wasn’t just about becoming husband and wife; it was about honouring a journey, embracing family, and celebrating with the people who had walked every step alongside them. From emotional speeches to joyful party scenes, their wedding was a blend of deep sentiment and unfiltered fun—everything I aim to reflect in my films as a Suffolk wedding videographer.

Swynford Manor: The Perfect Wedding Venue for Fine-Art Wedding Films

Swynford Manor provided a beautifully stylish canvas for the Averys' vision. With crisp white interiors, grand architectural features, and serene summer gardens, it radiated a refined and modern charm. It also offered the ideal backdrop for an outdoor celebration in glorious summer light. Inside, the ceremony room presented its own filming challenges—but with careful coordination, it became a space filled with warmth, intimacy, and meaning. It was the perfect venue to capture their story in a soft, fine-art style.

Storytelling Wedding Videography in Suffolk

Annabel and Ross’s brief was heartfelt and simple: they wanted a wedding film that prioritised storytelling over spectacle. After over a decade together and two daughters already completing their family, this day was a deeply personal milestone. They envisioned something low-key, yet elegant—an editorial, high-class look without fuss or fanfare. Their speeches were at the core of their story, and we made sure those emotional moments came through with clarity and cinematic care.

One of the joys of filming Annabel and Ross’s wedding was the brilliant atmosphere created by the bridal party. I built a strong rapport with the bridesmaids from early on, which led to some of the most lively, joyful footage later in the day. Technically, I worked closely with the venue team to maximise our use of Swynford Manor’s ceremony space, ensuring audio and lighting were perfect for both the vows and the emotional speeches. Every detail was filmed to reflect the aesthetic vision the Averys had in mind.

My Favourite Wedding Videography Moment

Sunset at Swynford Manor was something special. I took Annabel and Ross out for golden hour, and it turned into one of the most romantic moments of the day. With the light softening and the gardens in full bloom, I captured a beautiful scene of them spinning together—culminating in a dip kiss as their silhouettes melted into the shadows of the setting sun. It was quiet, intimate, and cinematic—just like the best love stories are.
