A Breathtaking Manor House Wedding with an Outdoor Ceremony at Chapel House Estate
Victoria and Dennie’s Romantic, Golden Hour Celebration in Kent
Watch Victoria and Dennie’s elegant and editorial wedding film from their black-tie Chapel House Estate wedding.
A Quintessential English Garden Wedding
Victoria and Dennie—The Mapstones—brought a real sense of joy and elegance to their Chapel House Estate wedding—one of Kent’s most beautiful countryside venues. Their celebration blended romantic moments with high energy, fun, and editorial finesse. From heartfelt vows under the open sky to a golden hour couple session straight from a magazine shoot, this was a true English garden wedding that hit every emotional beat. I was there to craft it all into a cinematic story they’ll never forget.
Chapel House Estate: The Perfect Venue for English Country Weddings
Chapel House Estate offers the kind of versatility that every wedding filmmaker dreams of. The outdoor ceremony space, framed by nature, created a peaceful and stunning setting for Victoria’s walk down the aisle. As the sun dipped lower, the estate transformed into a glowing, golden canvas—the perfect backdrop for capturing soft, romantic visuals. Later, the venue’s layout encouraged a seamless flow into the evening party, which exploded into a high-energy dancefloor that kept everyone moving long after sunset.

Creative Wedding Videography with Fun & Romance
Victoria and Dennie were clear from the start—they wanted a wedding film that was both fun and romantic, with a hint of creative editorial direction. They weren’t after something too traditional; instead, they wanted a film that reflected who they are: joyful, stylish, and full of love. They gave me the space to guide certain moments creatively, while keeping the focus on real emotion and connection. That trust allowed us to build a film that feels beautifully bespoke.
Delivering a luxury film experience goes far beyond just showing up with a camera. I arrived early to capture the setting and details before guests arrived, ensuring nothing was missed. I worked closely with the venue team and fellow suppliers to coordinate the best possible timing for creative shots, particularly around golden hour, when the light was perfect. I also recorded high-quality audio from the ceremony and speeches and professionally lit the key moments for clarity and mood. With a second videographer on the day, we were able to cover everything with precision—seamless coverage from beginning to end.
My Favourite Wedding Videography Moment
Hands down, golden hour with Victoria and Dennie was the highlight for me. There’s something about that soft evening light—especially in a place as open and cinematic as Chapel House Estate—that transforms a moment. Watching them together in that light, relaxed and just enjoying each other’s company, made for some of the most stunning footage in the whole film. It was quiet, unscripted, and completely magical.
“The cinematic way in which he films and edits all his wedding videos was just a perfect fit for us.
For most of the time we forgot we were even being filmed, so we were truly ourselves without any nervousness! He managed to capture every emotion and caught so many little candid moments that were just a joy to re-live.
His professionalism, care and general gentle persona leaves you at ease throughout the entire process and the finished product was truly incredible.”
